Director of Community
Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid) or Remote
Function: Community, Programs & Content
Reports to: CGO/CEO
About the Role
We’re looking for a Director of Community to build, scale, and energize a product-led community around AI agents. You’ll own our cohort programs, webinars, offline events, and course content engine end-to-end, turning community into a true growth lever.
What You’ll Do
Cohorts & Webinars (E2E Ownership): Design curricula, recruit speakers, set goals, build landing pages, run ops (reg→reminders→live→recordings), and drive post-event nurture.
Offline Events: Plan and deliver meetups/workshops/roadshows: venue, agenda, partners, budgets, on-ground ops, and post-event follow-ups.
Course Content Engine: Ship high-signal course content weekly (posts, shorts, guides, case studies, newsletters); create speaker clips and UGC loops from cohorts and events.
Community Ops: Stand up and scale spaces (Circle/Discord), run rituals, moderation, and ambassador/evangelist programs.
Partnerships: Co-host with relevant communities, schools, and ecosystems to expand reach and credibility.
Team Leadership: Manage volunteers/contractors (design, video, ops) and mentor community managers.
Must-Haves
Proven program ownership of cohorts and webinars end-to-end (you’ve shipped multiple, not just supported).
Offline event experience (you’ve run meetups/workshops with measurable outcomes).
Hands-on content creation (writing + basic video/edit/design via Canva/Adobe).
Working knowledge of the AI agentic space: agents, prompts, evaluation, LLMs basics; ability to translate technical concepts into learner-friendly content.
Tool fluency: Zoom/Airmeet, HubSpot (or similar CRM/marketing automation), Circle/Slack/Discord, Notion, basic analytics (GA4/UTM discipline).
2 to 3+ years in community/edtech/product-led growth (title flexible for exceptional builders).
Big Pluses
EdTech experience (bootcamps, cohort-based learning, or academies).
Stints at GrowthSchool, Maven, Scaler, UpGrad, or similar cohort platforms.
Audience familiarity with PM/PMM/Founders/Developers.
Network of speakers/partners in AI/product communities.
Ability to host on camera and/or run live facilitation like a pro.
Why Join
Build a flagship community at the frontier of AI agents & agentic workflows.
Freedom to experiment, move fast, and ship high-leverage programs.
Competitive comp, benefits, and upside.
How to Apply: Send your portfolio (programs you’ve run, decks, landing pages, clips/newsletters) and a short note on a cohort you’d redesign for 2× impact to ani@lyzr.ai or shalini@lyzr.ai with subject “Director of Community – Your Name.”
If you’ve already run 2+ cohorts, 10+ webinars, and 3+ offline events with clear metrics, we’d love to talk.
